I have worked at The Walt Disney Company as both a front line cast member at Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom and as a back of house cast member supporting Ride and Show Engineering.

Provided support to continue Splunk implementation across the Orlando, FL property including front-end interfaces and back-end infrastructure.

Assisted in the development of new methods to predict potential attraction downtimes and maintenance concerns.

Responsible for learning Splunk software to integrate with ride system to anticipate attraction downtime to increase reliability.

Generated and monitored weekly reports to analyze downtimes across all attractions.

Developed initial Splunk infrastructure to support increased data flow as new attractions are integrated.

Disney's Animal Kingdom - The Disney Company - Orlando, FL

Participated in the College Program as an Attractions Host at Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safari. As a Safari Driver, responsibilities include multitasking to balance driving a safari truck, spieling, and ensuring the safety of upwards of 45 passengers.

Tended to and resolved guest concerns and comments ensuring guests left happy and satisfied with the level of service they received.

Ride Operations Certified Trainer - Kings Island

Park Operations - Cedar Fair Entertainment Company - Mason, OH

Achieved multiple records in capacity, while maintaining an exceptional level of safety and guest service for over 1600 guests every hour.

Responsible for over 50 crew members with duties including running breaks, ensuring the safe and proper operation of the attraction, attending to guest concerns, managing paperwork and location of all attraction personnel, and ensuring the attraction was presented in a clean, professional, and safe manner.

Served as a resource to many area supervisors, trainers, and park managers to develop new operational and training procedures to increase safety and efficiency. Aided fellow associates in training and understanding of procedures and popcies to ensure efficient attraction operation.

Certified by International Ride Training (IRT) in their International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course in the proper methods of amusement park ride operation and training methods.

Rock 'n Roller Coaster Launch System Data Analytics - Integrated LSM Launch data into Splunk environment utilizing Python for heavy data processing, conversion, and translation.
Walt Disney World Resort Ride and Show Splunk Implementation - Assisted with the overall effort to integrate attraction data into the existing Splunk environment. This includes setting up and deploying universal forwarders, heavy forwarders, deployment servers, along with content creation.
WSU - Senior Design - SpO2Wear - Designed and produced a simple blood oxygen saturation monitor for emergency personnel using embedded system components.
